Protest Against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi In Us


After New York, a Protest against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Will take place on Sunday, 29 November at New England Copley Square and Sunday, 22 November (2 pm to 4 pm) at Lafayette Park along the west entrance on the white house ( 11:30 Am to 3 pm) respectively.

The purpose of the protest is to draw attention current humanitarian unfolding in Nepal as a result of the collapse of normal trade and transit between nepal and india; and to urge India to end the unjustified economic blockade since september 2015.

Nepali Communities of New England unite to raise awareness in international arena about the atrocious blockade by Indian policy which is depriving fragile Nepalis recovering from recent earthquake of their daily survival needs such as medicine, cooking gas ,gasoline and other supplies.

Many people are dying due to lack of medicine and access to transportation. Even well to do families in nepal are suffering so one can imagine how difficult it must be for the underprivileged which represents most of the Nepali population.

The blockade is wrong on every level and it must be stopped. We are appealing international and human right organizations to exert pessure to stop this inhumane blockade.

Everyone of you should come to make an impact. The bigger the participation the bigger the impact people in nepal are suffering and you can possibly help by showing up.This is not about a single person or an organization, this is about your family and friends in Nepal.
